Does Vyvanse Cause Numbness In Toes And Painful Calves?
Hello. I am prescribed 70mg of vyvanse once a day. I see from the literature with my prescription that numbness in the toes can occur. I have experienced that as well as on the pads of my feet. However, this only happens when I get into bed for the evening. I am OK with these symptoms. However, I have pain in my calves a good portion of the day which does not seem to be tied to any one activity or no activity. I am a male, 55, and about 210 lbs. Any thoughts regarding vyvanse being the cause?
Hi! The fact is that this drug, Vyvanse does not cause the pain in your calves, though it may cause numbness of the toes, as written in the literature. I feel that the pain in your calves is being caused by excessive stress on your tibial shin bones due to your weight. I recommend that you take a pain killer medication until you lose enough weight to stop the pressure on your shins. Regards, Dr. Neel Kudchadkar
