Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Does vyvanse increase sun sensitivity? I have never burned once in my life, but am constantly getting sunburned on my face. I started wearing 100 spf, but don t know what else to do. I was going to add vitamin c into my diet more, but it increases acid which I can t have with my vyvanse. Feeling lost, please help.
Vyvanse belongs to the group of medications known as central nervous system stimulants is used in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or ADHD and sometimes narcolepsy. But like other medications this medication has some side effects of its own. It may make someone's skin to be more sensitive to sunlight than it is normally. If this side effect persists for long or bother you then you should consult your doctor immediately for medical help.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Zubayer Alam, General And Family Physician
