Does Warfarin Cause Pinching Sensation In Legs While Sleeping?
I am taking Warfarin and lately for the past week while sleeping unless i stand i get a real sharp pinching sensation in the legs . If I stand the pinching goes away then turns to a warm slightly burning numbness sleeping on my side helps a little but i cannot maintain it recently I have also undergone a diet at the same time this has been happening whether that is coincidence or not I do not know please help
Welcome and thanks for your query. Your symptom is not a side effect of warfarin. Your symptoms are due to the pinching of a nerve on lying down. When you stand up, the pressure on the nerve is released and your pain is relieved. You would require to be examined by doctor and may require imaging studies of the lumbar spine. Do get back to me if you have further queries.
