hi dear. welcome to HealthCareMagic. thank you for joining us here. I have understood your concerns. I hope you're in fit condition right now.
may I know how much your dosage and how long have you had memory loss? did you use another drugs at the same time with wellbutrin which may have interaction with it?
Wellbutrin contains bupropion HCl, is an antidepressant drug used to treat
major depressive disorder and seasonal affective disorder.
the most common side effects are headache (25-34%), dry mouth (17-28%), Nausea & vomiting (1-18%), weight loss (15-20%), agitation (2-32%), dizziness (6-22%), decreased memory (3%). the others such as:
constipation, increased sweating, joint aches,
sore throat,
blurred vision, strange taste in the mouth, diarrhea,
nervousness etc may occur.
you should contact your local doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: chest pain, fast/pounding/irregular heartbeat, hearing problems, ringing in the ears,
severe headache, severe mental changes (e.g., agitation, anxiety, confusion,
hallucinations, memory loss), uncontrolled movements (tremor), unusual weight loss or gain, muscle pain or weakness, change in the amount of urine. it may shows something dangerous.
if the memory loss you feel persist or worsen, I suggest you to contact your doctor. do not stop wellbutrin immediately cause it can trigger withdrawal syndrome that may harm for you. also do not lower your dose without doctor's permission.
hope these can be useful and resolve your problems. if there's anything else you need to know, feel free to ask me in HCM. I'd be glad to help you. Take care.
Regards,
dr. Asti Yuliadha
