Does Xarelto Cause Itchy Bumps All Over Body?
I have been taking xarelto for about three years. Before that I took pradaxa. Several months ago I started itching. First it was my head, but now my whole body itches, especially in the evenings. I worried about lice, but that is not the case. I have purchased various products to use on my bed, etc. , but the itching continues with fine bumps. Then I remember that my sister complained of itching when she took Xarelto for a short time. She stopped taking it. I have a pace maker and afib. Can the xarelto be the cause?

I really appreciate your concern, this is hypersensitive reaction and it may be due to medicine and to get it confirm stop the medicine for some time, till then "Tab Hydroxyzine 10 mg" three times in day can be tried, itching could be emotionally aggravated, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day
