Does Zocef Need To Be Taken For A Healing Ankle Injury?

I had injury on my ankle, one doctor had given me antibiotic and I am taking them, today I am on tour when I went to another clinic for dressing he prescribed tablets ZOCEF 500MG. why it is is it advisable to take this. The wound is healing and I have no other problems, still doctor prescribed this additional drug. I am confused
