Does Zyban Cause Itchy Rashes On Hands And Chin?

Hi, I have been taking Zyban for 11 days. On day 10 I start itching and had a slight rash on my hands and chin. I applied stop itch cream and this subsided it for a while, but then came back in different places ,but just on hands and face. Also on the same day I started having heartburn, which I normally control by taking one losec everyday, but this till did not help it for over three days I have had it, plus burping often. Are these all side effect s from Zyban and should I continue with the Zyban or stop taking them or just drop from two pills back to one a day? They have been working really good up to now !

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I would recommend you to consult Zyban and try another medicine of the same group. For heart Burn try taking Esomeperazole. Avoid spicy food and fizzy drinks.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
