General & Family Physician 's  Response
cyanotic congenital heart disease causes cyanosi and bluish discolouration of baby.
but they dont present so early at 2nd day of life. the cause of cyanosis coulod be respiratory also. if the chilod has recurrent respiratory symptoms, get an ECHOcardiography done to find out the exact anatomical defect in the heart. the child might have to be started on medications like Syp furoped and Syp dixin. consult a doctor.
