Does A Concussion Cause Nose Bleeding?
I received a mild concussion on Wednesday night playing football. I had symptoms of headaches and dazed but now had subsided. I am now. Lowing bright red blood out of my nose. It is not dripping out like a nose bleed but I can feeling get hard inside my nose and then need to blow it out. Is this a normal side effect of a concussion or not. I am a 21 year old female.

Nasal bleeding can occur post concussion due to the tearing of the nerve fibers or rupturing of the blood vessels under the skull. Visit an ENT specialist get physically examined, you may need to get X-RAY(PNS), Audiometry for hearing, CT or MRI done.
You ma need neurological examination for co-ordination, reflexes, memory and concentration. Your treatment will depend upon your evaluation.
