Does A Failed Stint Cause Angina Symptoms?

Hello, In Jan 2013 I had two stents fitted. All has been fine up until 8 weeks ago when I started to get typical angina symptoms again. Just as I did previous to having the stents fitted. These symptom came on very quickly, without any gradual worsening. Does this sound like a failed stent?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Dear friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

YES – block in the stent /or progression of disease in a native vessel
Needs further investigations – angiography with a view for intervention.
CT angio and thallium stress are alternatives – but the angio is the gold standard
Discuss with your cardiologist

Take care
God bless
