Does A Pneumonia Vaccination Shot Cause Numbness In The Arm?
Hi, I am 31 and I was given a pneumonia vaccine yesterday. They said since I have asthma I should get the vaccine. Well I got the vaccine in my left arm but today my right arm is numb. I m having a hard time trying to write and I have not done anything out of the ordinary. I m wondering if this could be a side effect from the vaccine.
It can be due to wrong posture during sleep, so first try to correct the posture, if the symptom long last then it may need further evaluation but it is not the vaccine causing this or side effect of it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhusain, General & Family Physician

Does A Pneumonia Vaccination Shot Cause Numbness In The Arm?
Hi, Right arm numbness may not be the side effects of pneumonia vaccine but it could be due to nerve compression and that might be happening in cervical spine. It can be due to wrong posture during sleep, so first try to correct the posture, if the symptom long last then it may need further evaluation but it is not the vaccine causing this or side effect of it.
