Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have previously ruptured a cyst on my left side about 3 months ago. I am having somewhat of the same pain again and hurts to lye a certain way or walk, Bounce , or bend. It s not severe pain , its pretty moderate ands dull achey. Do you think it could be another rupture ? And when should I go see a doc?
Hello Dear. You history is not clear. What cyst are you taking about. There could be lot of different types of cysts. Ovarian cyst, hydatid cyst, pancreatic cyst and many more. Cyst rupture causes severe pain. Moderate and dull aching pain may not be indicative of ruptured cyst. In any case kindly go to the doctor and get evaluated. The doctor may do tests like Ultrasound, CT scan to rule out any recurrence of cysts or any other pathology. Once the diagnosis is made the doctor will suggest you next plan of action and when to come for follow up.
Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you. All the best With warm regards Dr Sanjay Kini
