Does A Throbbing And Bruised Finger Need Medical Attention?

I got the two tips (middle and index right hand) of my fingers stuck in a closing door. The funny part is that one of them feels fine, but the other throbs and hurts and is a little numb. inside the nail it s somewhat purple-ish pink. Is it ok, or should I get it checked out?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
You have to take a booster dose of tetanus toxoid 0.5 ml intramuscularly. You should get checkedby your local physian who may do suturing and dressing. In the course of time numbness will vanish, your physian may also prescribe you analgesics and antibiotics.
