Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hello doctor. i had unprotected sex with my wife and now she is pregnant but she dont want to keep the baby, she is asking me for abortion.but i am afraid of about her health problems and complication that can occur after abortion. will this abortion affect her in any way to get pregnant again in future?
Sir the answer to your query is straight forward. Abortion is a complicated procedure and the same depends on the timing and method used. Sir in my personal opinion you must continue the pregnancy.Killing some one against the will when someone inside cannot speak is thinkable. Kimdly consider the same. I don't know how much children do you have but please change your mind. Also if you think otherwise then you must be careful of following complications 1. Failed or Septic abortion 2. Post abortion triad of fever pain and bleeding 3. Retained products of conception leading to septicaemia and DIC 4. There are hormonal alterations as well that may affect your future pregnancies and the same increases in the first pregnancy
