Does Acne Medication Affect The Effectiveness Of Birth Control Implant?
Hi I just got the nexoplanon birth control implant yesterday and I am also currently on acne medicine but haven t taken any since getting the implant. The oral medication I am on is called cephalexin. Am I at risk of getting pregnant? Will topical acne medicine affect the chances of me getting pregnant as well?

Since you have not mentioned the name of topical acne medicine so it is very difficult to say whether it will affect the birth control implant or not. However, the antibiotic cephalexin does not reduce the contraceptive effects of birth control implant.
