My 11 year old son had his braces adjusted yesterday and had a toothache. We gave him some Advil and noticed about 1.5 hours later that his right eyelid was drooping a bit. He felt fine ( except the tooth still hurt when he ate). This was 2 hours ago and his eye seems to be a little better now. Can Advil cause this? I guess we should give him Tylenal next time?
This drooping appears tobe psuedo ptosis Just wait for one day the drooping should be normal. There is no cause that advil will cause drooping. How ever muscular injury or nerve block for the process can cause ptosis or pseudo ptosis.
