Does An Epidural Shot Cause Positive Drug Test Result For Amphetamines?
i am a 41 yr. old male in good heath other then a few back problems. i do not take drugs. i had a lower lumbar epidural and was put to sleep during the procedure. i had taken a drug test a few days later and the results came back positive for amphetamines. so my ? is was it do to the procedure or something in my medicine cabinet. thank you for your imput. from falsely accused

There are some medications that cross react with amphetamines, e.g. Trazadone, decongestants, Bupropion, some nasal sprays, anti psychotic medications and Ranitidine.
It would be best to go through any medication that you would have recently used to see if any of these may have played a role in your test result.
