Does Anesthesia Help Manage Pain During And After Surgery?

Hi, doctor i have a gyno since puberty, but get scared of going through surgery. I am scared bcoz of the anaesthesia during the surgery to be used. Will it be safe to have a surgery undr ,local plus sedation IV.
Will it going to control pain during and after surgery. I think if i will go for surgery i will have skin removal too. not an excessive amount but a moderate one.

There are different types of anesthesia like local anesthesia epidural anesthesia spinal anesthesia and general anesthesia. Depending upon the surgery the anesthesist decide upon the type of anesthesia. All anesthesia relieves your pain during and after the surgery for some time. all these are given for different level of pain reduction only.. Nothing to worry
