Does Anesthesia Taken For Toothache Affect The Menstruation Cycle?
Hi I have contact last December 23 and I got period from December 30-January 4.. I also have prenancy test last February 3 and it was negative but untill now I dont have period. I also have medication last month for tootache.. and I got anesthesia for times it is possible the reason why iam delayed? Thanks
Hello, Welcome to HCM. I understand your concern. You have not mentioned what medicines you took & for how long? Anaesthesia for tooth ache is not known to cause delayed periods. But periods might be delayed due to pain and agony of undergoing toothache. Pregnancy test may be false in small number of cases if done early. I advise you should repeat the test for 1 more time. If you don't have periods two weeks after the expected date then you should visit the gynecologist. Hope this will be helpful. Thanks for your question. Take care.
