Does Anti Viral Medication Cause Numbness In The Lower Lip And Chin?

I have been diagnosed with shingles on my lower lip and chin . I was given anti viral meds and a mouth wash and it is under control but it feels like I have freezing from the dentist or have ad a stroke., I am taking Tylenol every 3 hrs. Does this sound normal to you or should I go back to my doctor and how long will this last?

Hello,

With viral infection certain nonspecific symptoms are likely and it is part of the infection. Although it is not a normal one but not even danger, once the course of disease overs such symptom also subsides or comes around and not need to worry about this.
