Does Asthma Cause Redness In Face And Pain In Chest After Attack?

Hi, first off im 16 and 2 years back i was diagnosed with asthma, but its not really bad. For many past years before i got told i had asthma ive been having random cough attacks. Im not too sure what sets them off. i seem to have them the most when I am work (a&w) and when i get an attack it usually last 5min or more. my face gets really red, my chest starts to hurt and my eyes water alot. is this normal, is it caused from asthma? I really wish it would stop.

Hello there. if you have been diagnosed with Asthma then your doctor would have put you on some kind of inhaler. its imperative that you continue taking this inhaler even when you feel you are alright. you in consultationof your doctor should gradually taper it of after 3 months. if you have a break thru attack then you need to increase the dose and again go thru the tapering routine.
