Does Augmentin Cause Itching All Over The Body?
hi iam dr.nallammai welcome to hcm i appreciate ur concern..itching per se may be due to many causes, 1, some pts may hv hypersensitivity to antibiotics as u thought 2, as u had cellulitis and as ur age has crossed 40 it might be due to diabetes 3, liver enzymes elevation itself may cause itchin so my advise is that as u already took antibiotic iv,nw u may stop them if cellulitis has settld if cellulitis has nt settled take antibiotics along with t.allegra 120mg 0-0-1 do FBS and PPBS for blood glucose levels then fr ur elveated liver enzyme values consult a physician and do further investigations like USG to find out the cause and get it treated
