beta blockers are a protocal drug for heart failure and afib situations sometimes. but what i was taught also is beta blockers heal the heart but kill the lungs. i have had several docs tell me this. what is your experience with the beta blocker medications???
Thanks for your question on HCM. Your belief is wrong. Betablockers in normal human being does not kill lungs. If you have concurrent lubg diseases like asthma and COPD than beta blockers can cause bronchospasm. But in normal individual they are safe. So you can definitely take betablockers for your cardiac issue. They are very good drug for heart.
