Does biotin make melasma worse? I have always had great skin. I have been on a low dose of bc for years and needed to continue to take my prenatal vitamin w dha and biotin to help balance my hormones. This year I really slacked on my vitamins and biotin running after my kids. I started back, but now I'm hearing biotin makes melasma worse. Biotin always helped my skin, but since I slacked w my vitamins and biotin suddenly melasma is on my face. So will the biotin make it worse or can it help it?
