Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Yes, implant can cause mood swings as it contains the hormone progesterone. Progesterone is known to cause many side effects including mood swings.
However, other causes like excessive work load, stress, family disputes should be ruled out before attributing mood swings to implant and its removal.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
