Does Birth Control Pills Help Deal With Acne Problem?
I am wondering if birth control pills is suited for me since this will be my first time to use it. I wanted to cure my acne problems and they say that a pill can remove it and my pimple marks. Is it also true that it will increase my appetite? Honestly i m afraid to get fat.:)

Hello there,
The reason you have acne is because your body being in a state of hormonal changes promotes acne. Once the level of hormones normalizes your acne would reduce also. The pills help you attain a steady level of hormones but they are not a magic solution and would not get rid off everything.
You can start with using an oil clearing facewash which is medicated. Sebamed has a good and effective facewash. Wash your face 3-4 times daily. Secondly change your pillow covers or pillow cases weekly. Erytop gel which is an antibiotic based gel can be applied to your pimples after cleaning with facewash. Also have plenty of water and fresh fruits
