Does Bisoprolol And Lisinopril Cause Any Damage To Heart?

I have been told that I have a pheochrocytoma, I am taking bisoprolol and lisinopril currently and they are now putting my on a pre surgery alpha blocker, the name is pheobenzamine, my question is ... with the current meds I am taking will this do any damage to my heart, which has a slight arrhythmia. I am extremely nervous about taking the meds but I know that I have no choice.

Hi,

Bisoprolol helps to control heart rate so it would be helpful in an arrhythmia associated with pheochromocytoma.

Lisinopril is used in heart failure, it is an ACE inhibitor and that class of meds has been found to be helpful in that condition.

In light of that function, it is not likely to contribute to any damage to the heart.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
