Does Bleeding Later Than The Periods Date Indicate Implantation Bleeding?
Hi , I was wondering about implantation bleeding . I was supposed to have my period on the 7th but we tried for a baby on the 5th and i skipped the 7th and now i am bleeding today on the 11th could it be my period or implantation bleeding. Im not sure if i was to late and to close to my period but considering i skipped it. And if it is implantation bleeding when can i take a test?

As you have skipped your periods chances of implantation arethere. The implantation bleeding is very light as compared to your menstrual period, it lasts for 1-2 days & is light red in colour. It occurs 7-10 days after implantation or 3-4 days before starts of your periods. Also implantation bleeding occurs in only 33% of women who concieve.
The bleeding you are having could be your periods that are delayed. In case of periods bleeding is heavy dark maroon or brownish in colour & lasts for 4-7 days in total.
If you are having light bleeding or spotting you could do a pregnancy test now.

I really appreciate your concern, bleeding is not the criteria for the confirmation of conception because implantation bleeding happens in very rare cases and this is not the indication of pregnancy but you need to go for ultrasonography test, hope this information helps.
