Does Blood In Stool Indicate The Presence Of Mrsa?
My husband had mrsa Jan 8, I went to ER with a mass on my face 17 days ago, its healing, I still have a small 1 1/2" lump by my mnouth which has been draining for 7 days into my mouth. I started new antibiotic today. I just wen to the restroom and I have blood in my stool. Could it be mrsa?
Hi. MRSA causes skin and soft tissue infections, it may affect heart causing endocarditis and can cause pneumonia but it does not cause bloody stool. This is not mrsa infection. It can be dysentery if it contains more mucus and little water. Consult your physician for this and don't worry its not mrsa. Good luck.
