Does Brain Abnormality Cause Seizure And Poor Vision In A Toddler?
Nameste Dr ji,
Mey Yeshey Bhutan sey aap Bhaagwan jey sey ko shub Pranaam. I shall reamin grateful if ur goodself could could kindly throw me some light on the following:
my sister is 13 months old now. her vision is nil. opthalmologist says that her eyes her normal. she started to have seizures since she was 6 months old. her legs get stiff. doctors believe that she has a brain abnormality due to which such siezure and poor vision are caused. her MRI is due on 7th of Feb. i was told by doctor that there is less chance of getting cured. i am worried now. is there any medication or treatment that could rectify the abnormal functioning of the brain that is leading to poor vision and seizure. is this seizure called simple focal/partial seizuire affecting occipital lobe of the brain? is this problem caused due to genetic defect? if so is there any possibility to correct the false gene codes. any treatment. plez Dr. hum ko ma dhathaj key je yay. aap ko bhoo hod aasaan ray hay ga. thank u for ur time.
