Does Bronchitis Cause Delayed Periods?

I had acute bronchitis back in the middle to end of April an I took antibiotics for 4 days an I m still coughing but I don t care about that it s been 36 days since my period an I have been having unprotected sex but we use the pull out method an it s worked for 3 years so far but I don t have any symptoms I usually don t have period symptoms anyway but would that mean that I wouldn t have pregnancy symptoms ? Could the fact that I had acute bronchitis be why my period is late?

Hello,

Your acute bronchitis has nothing to do with your period, but my personal advice is that you should check with pregnancy test. If it is positive then you may be pregnant and don't worry if it's negative. You can take hormonal pills to regulate your period. Sometimes because of stress, period may be delayed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
