Does Carpel Tunnel Syndrome Cause Severe Elbow Pain?

Good Evening, I just have a quick question, I have pain in my right and left elbows after working all day. My right arm is the most painful. I have carpel tunnel syndrome, but the pain is now in my elbow and upper arm area and my muscle in that area hurts so bad. Is this all from carpel tunnel or could it be something else? I have also had 2 rotator cuff surgeries on my right shoulder. The pain is becoming unbearable, I take a lot of Tylenol to try to alleviate the pain but it isn t helping.

Hi,

Elbow pain is not related to carpel tunnel syndrome and may be due to something else.

Consult an orthopedician and get an MRI scan to look for any possible ligament or tendon involvement.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
