Hi, I have a concern regarding cat saliva rabies transmission. I was playing with a stray kitten with a pen I often used. It gnawed at the pen anf sometimes brushed its tongue against it, no drooling and no obvious remnants. Around thirty minutes later, I accidentally chewed on the said end of the pen the cat chewed on. It was not wet, but would the traces of cat saliva still be enough for exposure on human tongue? i also gargled mouthwash in a panic. What would my risk for rabies be (considering I had PEP PVRV Verorab 1.5 years ago)? Would I need the full set of shots, just the first three, or would the risk be small enough to ignore?
