Does Cerebroprotein Hydrolysate Helps A Diabetic To Recover From Small Acute Mid-brain Infarct?

my father in law had stroke 15 days back. MRI reveals "small acute midbrain infarct". His motor functions are good, good strength in hands n legs, coordination is missing, he can walk with support, speech is affected, though he can speak but with staggering and slurry, he is diabetic from last 25 years. For initial treatment doctor gave cognistar 60 injection 8 doses. Now on multiple mediacines like cognix plus, clopilet A 150, livogen Z, lipibure 40, Olsar 10, glycomet GP0.5 . We have full faith on Almighty n our doc. My question is, cerebroprotien hydrolysate is playing any role in recovery? Does it available in tablet form? Is it advisible?

Hi,

I have gone through your query.
Cognistar ( Cerebroprotein hydrolysate) is used to treat a range of brain injuries and neuro-degenerative conditions effecting the brain. Infarct is also seen as injury of brain which results from blocked blood supply to the area.

Cerebroprotein hydrolysate directly act on the brain to help repair and protect neurons, rebuild synaptic and other brain circuit connections, and assist the brain in recovering from injury.
Yes, it is playing a role in recovery.
It is available in capsule/ tablet form for oral administration.
Now a days it is advisable in both oral and injection form.
