Does Change Of Food Cause Coloured Stool In A 5 Month Old Baby?

Hi my son is 5months old and has just started on cerelac rice and formula along with my breast milk. He had started his cerelac 3 days back and since then has been having greenish black sticky and smelly poop. What would the reason be? should i contact the doctor immediately. I am currently in India.

sometimes when a child starts on a new food he has a change in his poop colour. give him plenty of water and keep feeding him with cerelac. if he has other features like bloating of tummy pain after feeding vomiting after feeding then there might be a problem . otherwise you can feed him cerelac
other point is are you sensitive or allergic to any food like gluten? if so be careful when you introduce a new food
