Does Chewing Nicoban Cause Swelling And Pain In The Abdomen?
It seems I have gastritis and have had for about a year. Swelling and pain on my left side is common. For the same one year period I have been chewing Nicoban gum, or Nickorett gum (not sure of name or spelling.) I chew about 10 pieces a day of he 2mg variety.. I am wondering if that might be causing the problem....along with alcohol consumption that s too high.

It is unrelated to Nicoban. Other intraabdominal causes must be ruled out. An ultrasound scan is required for further evaluation.
