General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello there,
Lisinopril is a medicine used to treat high blood pressure. If your sister mistakenly took an extra dose of lisinopril there is no harm. Just check her Blood pressure with a monitor or get it checked with a local physician. Rarely her BP may fall very low. However there is no reason to panic. Just give her enough water to drink (unless it is restricted for any heart reasons) and let her lie down. Continue her same medicines and insulin for diabetes. Be careful next time and keep track of medications and the schedule.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
