Have High BP. Taking Toprolol And Lisinopril. Results?
CURRENTLY TAKING TOPROLOL 100MG IN EVENING, DOCTOR JUST ADDED 10MG OF LISINOPRIL IN THE MORNING. BLOOD PRESSURE IN THE MORNING HAS BEEN 120/90 AND AS HIGH AS 140/90 PRE LISINOPRIL. EVENING READINGS HAVE BEEN 140/90 TO 165/100 PRE LISINOPRIL. HOW LONG SHOULD IT TAKE TO SEE RESULTS WITH THIS NEW LISINOPRIL MEDICATION? THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Lisinopril action starts after one hour of ingestion and peak reduction in blood pressure reaches after 6 hours and action lasts up to 24 hours.
In some cases ,it may take 2-4 weeks to get the desired blood pressure.
