Yes that
cyst may cause problems with conception as
corpus luteum has to degenerate and go away out of the system if there is no conception and no
pregnancy.
Corpus luteum persistence itself ( but no as a cyst)is necessary for first few months of pregnancy until placenta is fully formed and becomes perfectly functional to make pregesteron to help sustain the noraml pregnancy. Before placenta, corpus luteum does the same thing to sustain the early periods of conception (i.e it also se retes
progesterone same like placenta does in later periods of pregnancy)
Pregnancy is all about progesterone. We have to maintain proper levels of progesterone throughout pregnancy.
Corpus luteum normally doesn't affect the pregnancy in negative way, but if it is Cystic, it is a problem. Yes you need to take the medicine as prescribed.
Hope I answered all of your health concerns . If you have further questions in future, feel free to contact me anytime & I will get back to you in no time. Please give a positive feedback.
Have a wonderful time ahead.
Best Regards!
