Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i have been very tired and somewhat light headed for the past week or so and it has concerned me. no fever, VERY minor sore throat a week ago. I have been able to carry on my normal duties but just feel not myself. my mouth feels dry so i wonder if it is dehydration?
Dehydration can cause lightheadedness and weakness. You have to increase the intake of fluids in any form like water, lemonade or coconut water. Take at least five to seven liters of water in a day. You have said that you also had a sore throat so your symptoms can also be due to flu. If you experience any rise in the temperature, you should get yourself checked by a physician. Meanwhile, take rest and keep yourself hydrated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Nazma.amman
