Does Delayed First Period After Child Birth Indicate Pregnancy?

Hello,I just stopped breastfeeding last month and am waiting for my period to return. The last today days I have had a little bit of spotting, but that is it. Just wondering what varies for normal for first period after having a baby? Or should I go to my doctor for a pregnancy test

Hi, it may take 1 to 2 months to get your normal periods. But you need to be sure that you are not pregnant because there is a chance of pregnancy also. So, better to go for a pregnancy test. If negative wait for your periods. Also use some contraceptive may be condoms or oral pills or intrauterine devices or injections, if you don't want pregnancy. Discuss with your doctor.
