Hello,

Delaying the oral contraceptive beyond 7 days of the recommended time period might cause the oral contraceptive not to be effective and you are at risk of pregnancy.
You need first to have a pregnancy test and if negative continue the oral contraceptive as you are using it but you need to combine oral contraception with use of condoms for one week to have better protection against pregnancy.

I hope I have answered to your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
