HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The shortness of breath , fatigue and palpitations may be related to the heart , lungs or due to anemia (low hemoglobin level)
Heart disease can sometimes occur in diabetics so it is a possible complication.

She should consider a full blood count to check for anemia along with chest x ray and ECG.
Further cardiac testing may also be needed.

The spasms may also be related to diabetes because it can sometimes affect nerve function.

I hope this helps
