Does Diagnosis Of Diverticulitis And Fatty Liver Disease Indicate Cancer?

Hello, My husband has been diagnosed with Diverticulitis and Non-Alchoholic Fatty Liver Disease. He has had thorough bloodwork done and everything looks good. My concern is Colon or Bowel Cancer. If the diagnosis has been made as above and blood work looks okay, is there still a possiblity that colon/bowel cancer exists and that it has been missed?

Hi.Can understand your concern. As per your query if all the blood findings and tests looks okay, the chances of having colon or intestinal cancer is very less... Still if you have any doubt you feel any suddenly weight loss is there you should have a colonoscopy done which will rule out any proliferation or any pathology of large and small intestine. It is a very minimal invasive procedure .Need not to worry... I hope I solved your concern.Take care.
