Does Dizziness On Standing In Mitro Valve Prolapse Patient Who Had Overdose Of Sleeping Pills Damaging To The Heart?
I have mitro valve prolaspe. Unfortunately, I attempted suicide several times over the past few years by overdosing on sleeping pills and Clonazepam. For almost a year now I have been experiencing dizziness when I stand up. A couple of times I fainted. Could my actions have damaged my heart?
Dizziness and fainting episode while standing may be due to orthostatic hypotension. That could be possible due to mitral valve prolapse, but excessive sleeping pills lead to cardiac damage and could aggravate the symptoms that means sleeping pills overdose could be one of the reason for increase in severity of disease.
Thanks
