hii...m 27 years old married women . my period cycle is very regular . but this month my period is delayed by 8 days . only change in these month is i had donated blood just few days before my period . i want to know that blood donation will affect my period ?
I don't think that your delayed periods is due to the blood donation. Menstrual cycle is depended by your hormonal levels and not by the amount of blood. The amount of the blood donated doesn't harm your health.
If you have had a stressful living lately that may be the reason why your periods are late. Also if you are sexually active, you have to exclude the possibility of pregnancy.
Take care and all the best! Dr Eriol.
