Does Drinking Water Lower One S Pulse Rate?

Does drinking water lower your paulse my paulse was high today the nurse told me to go sit down and drink some water after doing so she rechecked my paulse and it had went up from 116 to 123 what made it go up instead of down after drinking the water and sitting down

If our body is exerting,There is an increased pulse rate due to sympathetic outflow.If it is at rest ,reverse happens. This is what happened with you.Siting. Got you calmed down. No relation to drinking water.
