Does Dry Eyes Result In Eye Pain And Constant Blinking?

My daughter is complaining of eye pain and is blinking her eyelids more often, she is 4 years old.
I went to a doctor yesterday he said her eyes are a bit dry and gave SoftDrops and asked us for a follow up after 3 weeks. We would however need a second opinion. Do we need to worry?

First thing is , there is nothing to worry.
One should get the vision status in such a case before looking for any thing else.If there is vision error (refractive error) let us get it corrected, though it is not so easy at this age.
Soft drops are not going to harm in anyway rather it will be soothing for the eyes and relieve these symptoms.
