Does Dyskaryosis Cause Abnormal Smear Test?

I've had my second abnormal smear test come back of which is mild changes, I've been with my partner for 1 year and wondered if he can be tested for Dyskaryosis as I've heard this is transmitted sexually. he had a partner before me, i was not single for a few years and not sexually active.

Dyskaryosis can cause abnormal smear test. Dyskaryosis may be followed by the development of a malignant neoplasm.

Positive smear test will further require colposcopy, cervical biopsy and fractional curettage.

Usually if the repeat smear test is positive further evaluation and intervention is needed to prevent complications.

Consult gynecologist and take further suggestions.
