Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Dizzy spells associated with my ears??? I have been getting dizzy spells. It happens randomly or is triggered by certain things i do and lasts a couple of minutes. I could be sitting normally and suddenly get hit with recurring spells. After almost collapsing a couple of times, I saw a doctor at work. She looked in my ears and with another colleague, they dug into them and flushed them. It wasn t a pleasant experience and I wound up bleeding from my ears. They said one ear was cloudy and the other was red inside. They concluded it was vertigo but didn t give a lot of information on it nor treatments. It s been a couple of years since and still suffer from dizzy spells. I get motion sickness a lot and sometimes wake up dizzy. Lifting my arms over my head triggers stars in my vision. Another doctor suggested a blood disorder because I can also not donate blood ( I go into shock), I have bad leg circulation, and I feel exhausted when I m in my menstrual cycle. I am starting a high hazard job soon and just want to make sure I can understand what I m dealing with and possibly treat it. Thank you.
